A community of peoples in PRAYER and ACTION for world evangelisation. The founding, training, and development of new non-Western indigenous mission movements.

New mission movements are multiplying all over Asia, Africa and the Middle East. People groups, until recently on the receiving end of The Great Commission, are now rising to fulfil their destiny, aware that Jesus is calling them to be a blessing to all nations.

Nations is a small but growing expression of a global phenomena joining hands across the East/West divide, bringing strength to strength for the purpose of making disciples of all nations.

Reflecting on the past year, we are full of amazement and thankfulness for what the Lord has done. Particularly the miracles he worked for us to get St Elli, our new 20 bedroom house. Many of you shared with us on that exciting journey. We also saw the small beginnings of an Egyptian mission to Muslims in Europe, Egypt My People, and growth in other young mission movements we are working with. Now, as we face the future, we look to the Lord to reveal his plans for us.

Those who look to him are radiant, and their faces shall never be ashamed (Psalm 34:5).

John 17 exposes the heart of Jesus as he prayed to his heavenly Father for us. Even knowing what he was shortly to face, his joy and faith shine through. He was at peace, knowing that he had completed the work the Father had given him to do. That work was twofold; to manifest the Name (v6) and to give the words (v8) of the Father to those that the Father had given him.

He modelled what true life is. Jesus, having emptied himself of all his heavenly glory while he lived on earth, manifested (made known in flesh and blood reality, through the miracles, through his compassion and love) the Name of the Father. He said to Philip ‘Whoever has seen me has seen the Father’ (John 14:9). Even the words he spoke were not his own:

‘For I have not spoken on my own authority, but the Father who sent me has himself given me a commandment – what to say and what to speak’ (John 12:49).

Jesus lived in utter freedom on earth knowing that all his power and authority came from his Father. He made a way for us to follow. He has not left us an impossible model, but one that we can walk in. We too are called to manifest his Name and give his words to others. That is our commission. It is impossible to fulfil in our own strength; it can only happen as we draw our life from Jesus:

I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. (John 15:5).

Ps 107:20 ‘’He sent forth his word and healed them’’
The apostle Paul wrote to the Romans  : ‘’I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation’’, while Jesus declared  : ‘’This Good News of the Kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations’’ (Rom 1  :16  ; Mat 24  :14). We must preach the Word on every occasion, for it has the solution to the problems of our world. This special newsletter will testify to what God did during the latest annual conference in Bobélé.

Easter week was chosen again for this gathering to which Pygmies came from different areas, along with the orphaned children from Bangui and a number of our  “cousins”. (Each day they gave a testimony and sang some songs in Arabic to everyone present). Our friend Robert Reeve was the main speaker. Others expounded on the themes of human rights, sustainable development and transformation in the course of the various workshops. The conference was further enhanced by the presence of Pastor Gabriel Yérima, patriarch and original pioneer of the Pygmy work.
