God's Voice, our voice
This is our God:
He 'gives life to the dead and calls into existence the things that do not exist' (Romans 4:17)!
We see Him doing that right from Genesis 1! What is more mind-blowing though, is that He calls us to do the same. Jesus told His disciples to go and heal the sick and raise the dead. The Lord told Ezekiel to prophesy over a dead nation so it would rise again into a mighty army. The gift of prayer is given to us to call things that don't yet exist into existence with Him.

Jesus' voice is described by John in Revelation as like the sound of rushing waters (Revelation 1:15). Amazingly the same description is given to the overcoming Bride in Revelation 19:6:
Then I heard what sounded like a great multitude, like the roar of rushing waters and like the loud peals of thunder, shouting “Hallelujah! For the Lord our God the Almighty reigns”.

Our voice can be one with His voice! He wants us to speak into the desert and bring fruit, into the dead and bring life!

New season

We in Nations feel that we are coming into a new season. For around twenty years we have been working to help birth and nurture indigenous mission movements. This will not change. It is a great privilege and a calling that we cherish. We are basically called to help others succeed. However, the ways and means and speed at which these things can happen will change with the seasons and with what we allow the Lord to do through us.

One of the principles that Rowland Evans, our founder, put into us, was the concept of honouring the seed of 'life' that the Lord has put into each person. That seed may just be in the form of a longing or a groaning that, when nurtured and encouraged, will find its way into a visible work of God.

As a result of providing this 'seedbed' approach, where people can safely express their heart, their longings and their fears, new works have been started, and we have had the joy of blessing many people into their next steps.

We feel that there is a 'spring' season coming now after what has been a long winter. It is time to call things into existence! Things that are not yet, or at least are not seen yet. It is an exciting period of discovery. There are new mission movements to be born. There are books to be written. There are new people to join our team. Some of them we are already aware of, some we haven't yet discovered.

In this letter we can't cover everything that is happening with all our 'family' of mission movements, but we would like to give you some highlights.

Frontline Nations
...
... a Korean mission movement, started from a dream in leader 'Jake', now has more than 100 missionaries and trainee missionaries in different parts of the world (Asia, Europe and the Middle East). Jake will often start with young and/or broken people, and encourage them to find what the Lord has planted in them. He and his team, with input from the Nations team, help them to call it into being. After months of research and 'spying out the land' they are just about to launch their first team into Germany.

This January
Frontline Nations will be running their first English-speaking 'Introduction to Mission' course in our Llanelli base. In this new season they feel they should stretch out to help train and mobilise into mission, people of other nationalities as well as Koreans.

DN
...
... is one of the first mission movements Nations helped to birth, and the 'mother' movement of much of the Korean work we are associated with. Years ago they moved their HQ from Llanelli to a city in Turkey. They are still at work there and in other Middle Eastern and European nations, but recently have been offered a building in Shrewsbury (UK). This will be used to train young people in mission and using business in mission. It will also become a prayer and worship base.

Egypt My People
(EMP) ...
... have had another successful summer training people how to witness to Arabs and then leading outreaches in London. Hundreds of Arabs have received literature or DVDs etc. Many have had personal conversations. Some have made commitments and a new discipleship group has been formed.

Some of the people they have trained have gone on to continue witnessing in Turkey, Syria and Egypt. They testify of amazing hunger for the truth in the Middle East and say that the only thing restricting more people coming to the Lord is a lack of workers.

EMP
are now holding regular meetings for workers to share the opportunities and learn from each other. They are also holding some training in Middle Eastern nations. Invitations for them to send teams are coming in from all over Europe at the moment, especially in the light of the refugee crisis.

Another new project in this new season is the development of a TV series for the Middle East that they want to make in co-operation with
Nations. Our working title is 'Potential: You can change the World'. We hope to speak to the longing innate in everyone that our lives are meant to be meaningful, and that there is only one way to find the true meaning of life. If you are interested in knowing more about this project, or would like to support it in some way, please do get in touch.

Central African Republic
...
... Though, with all our hearts, we would like to report a new 'spring' season here, it seems that this beautiful land and people are still locked in winter's cycle of destruction and death. Some of the missionaries we work with have lost loved ones. Many have had their homes ransacked or even burnt down. They suffer along with the general population as anarchy rules and the blood-letting continues whilst the international community of 'peace keepers', for the most part, simply stand and watch. However, in the midst of it all, Nations en Marche, the mission movement we are involved with, is a shining light, and because of them many are finding practical help as well as comfort, hope and faith.

We receive regular updates from the mission leader there. If you would like to join us in prayer for a new season for this war-torn land please email

Celebration for the Nations
...
... our ninth Celebration for the Nations took place in Korea last August. This worship intercession gathers people from the nations to worship together for a week. The Lord has told us to gather the people together so that He could give us water (Numbers 21:16-18). Our part is to worship, to 'sing' to the wells of His purpose.

For seven years we were in Wales, interceding, worshipping, working alongside local churches, evangelising and believing that the Lord will again come in revival power. This work continues through the Celebration Mobile Team, local meetings and street worship.

For the last two years, the Celebration has been in Korea. The Welsh Revival of 1904 was very linked with the Korean revival of 1907 which started in Pyongyang, now the capital of North Korea. Our worship intercession is for reunification and revival. Again this work is continuing in Korea, as well as other nations, in worship, prayer and evangelism.

Next year, July 31 – August 6, 2016, the Lord is leading us to Mount Carmel, Israel, another divided nation and one that is so important to every believer. Join us to worship for a week, in the spirit and power of Elijah, to prepare the way of the Lord and pray for a new outpouring of His Spirit in Israel to the nations. Nations
team ...
In our new season we want to welcome some new team members:
... Nic and Louise Vanderlinde are joining us from Canada at the beginning of next year. Louise's family is originally from the Llanelli area. They are leaving children and grandchildren on the other side of the world and following the Lord's calling to join us in Llanelli, first helping with Celebration for the Nations Israel, but also becoming a part of the Nations family. They are still waiting on the Lord to discover if this is a long-term direction for them. Please pray with Nic and Louise for all they will need emotionally, spiritually and financially as they move forward with the Lord.

... The Joo family,
Hyun il and Jung Sun and their two boys, were due to join us last summer. Then Jung Sun developed cancer. They have stayed in Korea for her treatment, and are involved in helping Celebration for the Nations from that end at the moment. Please stand with us for her healing.

CrossRoads ...

In our season of new beginnings, Nations ran its first ever CrossRoads week in October. Nine people, of six nationalities, who wanted to go deeper with the Lord, joined us for a week of teaching, community living and discovery. It was a wonderful, restful time for all of us as we sought the Lord together. Everyone left with a deeper sense of God's presence and calling.

... I just want to say "Thank you" from the bottom of my heart to the Nations team for taking the trouble of organizing CrossRoads and for all the teaching and fellowship you provided. Thank you also to all my fellow students, you all taught me so much!

... (I) arrived absolutely exhausted. My first night in St Elli was truly transformative; I would say my health, vitality etc improved overnight from about 50 to 85%!

... Thank you all so much for my time at CrossRoads, it was indeed transformative and gave me the direction I sought.

We plan to run another course next autumn. If you are interested in joining why not come along to our taster weekend and reunion February 26-28, 2016? Contact

Building ...

A growing work means more space is needed to house and train people. Praise God for finance given recently that will enable us to replace the fire escape in St Elli House giving proper safe access to redevelop the top floor of this accommodation. We will do this bit by bit as finance comes in. We see that we will soon need more training space as well and are praying for answer on this!

Team retreat ...

Next week, 23rd – 27th November we have our team retreat ion Llanelli. Both teams, Wellingborough and Llanelli, will meet to seek the Lord, and to evaluate before Him where we are now and where we feel He is leading us. Please remember us in prayer.

Thank you!

We don't say it enough, but we really appreciate all of you who stand with us in prayer and in other practical ways!

With love in Christ,

The Llanelli Nations Team
